Magnetic Resonance Imaging is, as is well known, a diagnostic technique that provides detailed images of the human body using magnetic fields, produced by a large magnet, without exposing the patient to ionizing radiation, as is the case with CT (also called CT, or Computed Tomography).
MRI can provide three-dimensional images of the body’s internal organs, along with the skeleton and joints.

In oncology, it is used not only for diagnosis but also for staging and evaluation of response to different chemotherapy treatments.
While CT is an URGENT diagnostic method, MRI can be considered more of an APPROFUNDATION method.
However, thanks to technological advances and the development of increasingly sophisticated application software, its use has expanded so much that it too has become an essential and indispensable diagnostic method for hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers.
RM mobile units are equipped with every comfort:
- Air-conditioning system capable of ensuring the desired temperature and relative humidity conditions in every season.
- Hydraulic stabilization plant
- Adequate electrical system with high standard of quality and safety,
- LAN network for data exchange and sharing with the RIS/PACS of the host hospital facility
- Appropriate lighting for the environment according to the parameters set by regulations to safeguard the safety and well-being of both health care personnel and patients, etc.
- Electrohydraulic platform for safely lifting stretchered or nonambulatory patients to the operating floor.
Renting a mobile MRI unit thus becomes indispensable when, for example, work is being done, which may last for several weeks, to replace MRI equipment that has become obsolete.
Or even to reduce possible long waiting lists to perform a crucial in-depth examination such as an MRI.
With an MRI examination performed in a timely manner, without the need to waste precious time, one can, for example, evaluate the effectiveness or otherwise of ongoing chemotherapy treatments, making appropriate corrections that can save or prolong the lives of cancer patients.
Our company, in addition to providing the mobile MRI units, can also in case of need make available experienced TSRMs (Medical Radiology Health Technicians) who can quickly support or train local staff.
Similarly, we are able to offer the availability of experienced Radiology Physicians in the various areas of MRI diagnostics (neuroradiology, osteo-articular, abdominal, cardio-vascular) who can report on-site or by TELE-REFERRAL.
All our mobile MRI units are covered by a “full-risk” maintenance contract on both the MRI system provided and all ancillary equipment and facilities present.
They also comply with all current safety and radio-protection regulations and are accompanied in this regard by certification issued by Qualified Expert Physicist.
